We are delighted to share significant news marking an important milestone in our company’s history. Câbleries Namuroises, founded in 1934 and a major player in steel wire rope distribution in Europe and Africa, is entering a new chapter today.

We are pleased to announce that our company has been acquired by Ropenhagen A/S, the leading European distributor of steel wire rope, based in Taastrup, Denmark. This acquisition is the result of several months of discussions and strategic planning aimed at strengthening our market position and extending our reach to new horizons.

 

What does this mean for Câbleries Namuroises?

 

With this integration, Câbleries Namuroises will now be known as CabNam SRL. This name change, while retaining our identity and expertise, will allow us to expand our accessibility and recognition on the international stage.

All our operations, personnel, and assets are being transferred to this new legal entity. However, rest assured that our team, corporate culture, and our Fernelmont site will remain unchanged. We will continue to operate as before, without interruption, with the same commitment to excellence and quality.
